Clayton Jones

November 2, 2018

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Pop Singer/Songwriter Clayton Jones has spent the last 13 years honing his craft and developing his signature voice. Influenced by a wide vary of artists from Sia and Jessie J, to The Script and The Goo Goo Dolls, listeners will find threads of Pop, Rock, R&B, & Soul woven seamlessly into his music. Before relaunching as a
solo artist in early 2017, he spent 7 years as lead singer of former duo The Madison Letter, where he shared the stage with and opened for The Script, Jon Bellion, Fifth Harmony, and many more. Collectively over the course of his career, he has performed in over 30 states across the US as well as internationally in Great Britain, South Africa and Tanzania.
With the help of his fans, in August 2017 Clayton successfully raised a Kickstarter goal of $18,000 in order to record and release 12 new songs over the following year. Inspired from the music, culture, and experiences of his several trips to Africa, he debuted his new project with pop/world anthem, “Safari”. He went on to release 8 more songs as monthly singles,
and recently announced that he’ll be dropping all 12 as a full-length album in Fall 2018. From the journeying tale of “Nomad”, to the vulnerable cry of “Odd Man Out”, Clayton gives listeners a closer glimpse into his life with every song, showing the world that he’s not just another guy with a voice, but a man with a real-life story to tell. As he often says, “Life is supposed to be an adventure; not one that’s lived behind the fences of our comfort, doubts, and fears. My goal is to create something with my artistry that’s more than just music, and I hope that by inviting people into my story, it inspires them to step out boldly into their own.”
